Weekends

Weekends are important for the child and the teachers. Teachers plan for the week ahead and undergo training on Saturdays. Children have to interact with parents, grand parents and neighbors for proper emotional and social development.

Children studying in Std III + will have to spend time in the libraries and labs of Manthan School preparing for ASSET, NSO, NCO benchmark examinations and project work on Saturdays.

Stationery Items

All books, notebooks, and stationery items such as pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners will be issued in the beginning of the year. Kindly ensure that your ward carries all the required material every morning in adequate numbers.

Manthan will not stock or store these items in the school hereafter. This is to ensure that children learn to manage their own requirements on a daily basis. Please ensure that they sharpen the pencils adequately before bringing it to school.

Library Books
Library books, Homework books & notebooks should be brought back to the school on the next working day failing which students have to pay a fine.
Home Tuitions

Kindly avoid the following:

  • Teaching ahead of schedule
  • Doing exercises ahead of schedule in the text- books
Once children learn lessons or do worksheets ahead of schedule they don't pay attention in the class and start talking with other children. This disturbs the class and the other children. If parents want to enhance their ward's knowledge base, possibly Manthan can refer to some useful books.
